The Diaspora
Reunion in Rio
ReUniting Baltimore & Rio through sports, culture, and community — an exclusive, curated journey across the Black Atlantic.
Two Historic Pillars of the
Global Black Diaspora
If you KNOW ADA, you know we could not let this moment pass us. Departing Thursday night, September 24th on an overnight red-eye, ADA invites you to touch down in Rio on Friday morning for an exclusive, curated Diaspora Reunion.
As the Baltimore Ravens make history playing the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil, this experience serves as a true cultural bridge. Baltimore and Rio de Janeiro share a profound historical parallel: both stand as foundational sanctuaries holding some of the largest free Black populations in their nations' histories.
Designed exclusively for Black folks who want to connect with the Afro-Brazilian community, this boutique experience pairs luxury on the iconic sands of Copacabana with deep connection to Afro-Brazilian community leaders — ensuring a localized economic impact.
The Architects of This Reunion

PLACEHOLDER QUOTES — swap with real testimonials from the ADA Global Studies & Facebook pages.
Traveling with ADA rewired how I understand home. I arrived a traveler and left with family across the diaspora. Nothing has been the same since.
This wasn't tourism — it was reunion. Every meal, every conversation, every dance was rooted in something deeper. ADA does it with intention and love.
The connections ADA built on the ground are unmatched. We were welcomed as kin, not customers. I'm already saving for the next one.
I've traveled plenty, but never felt my history breathe like this. ADA balances luxury and purpose in a way I didn't think was possible.
From the welcome dinner to the farewell feast, everything was seamless and soulful. ADA didn't just show me a country — they reunited me with a people.
is next.
Reciprocal Tourism, Rooted in Solidarity
Following our 11-year organizational standard, a direct portion of every single package reservation is funneled straight into our Afro-Brazilian community partners and grassroots sports organizations in Rio — ensuring our presence leaves a lasting, positive economic legacy.
